Plan the evening in order
If you want speeches or awards, decide when they happen relative to dinner and music. Bring that outline to a tour before choosing a layout.

The details
Work through the event.
A holiday party often starts at the table and ends with music, dancing, or time to catch up. If awards or speeches are part of the night, decide when they happen so dinner service does not compete with them. Bring your entertainment and décor ideas to the ranch, and check the setup and access your vendors would need.
